Compose your life, career, or business today–it’s time to Live Your Opus!

Do you share any of the secrets experienced by high-achieving, fiercely independent, and impactful women?

  • Despite all of your success and impact, deep down, do you believe you could generate more impact & achieve even greater success?

  • Do you sometimes wonder what all of ‘it’—your experiences and expertise— add up to?

  • Do you dream about articulating confidently - and then packaging to sell - the value and impact you bring on the job - or with your clients - into your signature IP, offering, or menu of products/services? Or take that IP and scale it further?

  • Do you regularly sit at the edge of your comfort zone just because you can?

  • It’s taken you a long time (and a few reinventions) to figure out & refine your superpowers; do you sometimes feel like you’re in a race against time?

  • You’re not lonely—but do you occasionally feel alone?

  • Are you filled with spark and energy but have been told to tone it down? Just like you think big but sometimes end up playing small?

  • You’ve accommodated others, so wouldn’t you love to focus on yourself now?

  • You love your work—but aren’t you ready to work your way? Sustainably?

  • You’re proud of your accomplishments, but do you sometimes wonder what it all adds to?

I GET IT. ME TOO.

I’m a high achieving woman. I’ve reinvented myself plenty of times: higher education, nonprofit, corporate, entrepreneurship, motherhood, moving across borders & more. I’ve researched and studied high achieving women. And created, led, and advised communities of top performers throughout my career. Being a high achieving woman is an identity filled with contradictions that most people don’t see.

The Paradox of Success

The more successful you become, the harder you’re likely to fall. That’s because everything you’ve done to achieve your current level of success is holding you back from attaining your next level of success.

High-Quality Challenges

To be an extraordinarily high-achieving woman can mean that you’ve often overworked to prove you could do it and pushed yourself just a little further to see if you can. Or, maybe things that seem hard or impossible to others come easily to you. Perhaps you’ve succeeded in one area but struggled in another. Or maybe, despite your success, you feel like something is missing.

Only now you’ve decided that you want more from it all:

  • You’ve stepped into entrepreneurship—the holy grail of challenges for high achievers. The place where all of your strengths will be revealed, alongside all of your demons. (And, yes, if you’re a “solopreneur” you’re an entrepreneur, so this includes you!)

  • Or, you’ve set yourself a next-level challenge: to stay in the traditional workforce and build your own (not so secret) agenda, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to your career, ensuring you generate impact and achieve success in a specific area.

You will need new powers to get to your next level of success. To acquire them, you must risk all of the success you’ve become. There’s no blueprint; you can’t copy anyone else.

What if you could examine the qualities that have made you successful? What if you could discover which ones might hold you back the most as you reach higher?

And, what if—as you consider and go after your deepest desires as an entrepreneur—you could be surrounded by other high-achieving women doing the same? Women who have honed their expertise, put in the miles, and are as invested in their purpose as you are in yours?

This is Project Opus.

Project Opus is a hand-picked group of high-achieving, kick-ass women!

We are experts in our respective fields. And we’re new entrepreneurs. We don’t just want to grow our careers; we want it to deliver impact and income. After all, this is our Opus.

So, we’re coming together for 10 weeks to accelerate our growth.

The Transformation

Together, we will unlock new freedom, discipline, and confidence to soar.

In 10 weeks, we will travel through the four distinct stages of the Live Your Opus Method—Connect, Dream, Compose, and Embark—where each member will:

  • develop a clear vision, strategy, and plan for our life and our work or business,

  • explore & adopt critical skillsets, mindsets, energy, and habits to support,

  • cultivate our ability to communicate these to others and take them into the world with a newfound confidence and spark, and

  • prepare to navigate potential barriers and opportunities with ease.

This transformation process is anchored in your strengths. It draws on elements of peer-reviewed, evidenced-based methods and proprietary tools I’ve developed and used successfully with individuals and teams.

I’m Janine Matho

an award-winning leader, founder, expert coach, consultant, and advisor to high achievers who are elevating their lives, careers, or businesses; people who understand that to keep raising the bar, they must continue to grow.

For over two decades, I’ve been a trusted advisor to exceptional leaders in world-class organizations seeking reinvention, growth, or innovative solutions in the face of challenges—including extraordinary global corporate leaders, start-up founders and leaders, and non-profit, academic, and education leaders.

Nearly four years ago, I left corporate due to burnout and the sudden death of my mother. After recovering from burnout and taking my first-ever career break to study wine & gastronomy at Le Cordon Bleu London, I dove headfirst into entrepreneurship, creating not one business but two!

I learned the hard way that the experiences and ways of working that brought me great success in my career did not serve me well as an entrepreneur. To improve my chances of success, I hired coaches and therapists and invested heavily in my learning. To turn the corner, I had to let go of the old me and learn new skillsets, mindsets, habits, and daily practices; it’s been a humbling ride, and I continue to learn and grow each day.

As I build my life's work, I am drawn to other women doing the same. As part of my practice, I've interviewed and spoken with nearly 100 female entrepreneurs & solopreneurs, activists, authors, artists, and more.

I've learned that our shared experience—creating our Opus—is unique and unites us. Pursuing—and achieving—your life's work is a massive ambition, more than most of us realize as we're doing it.

It means waking up every day to take the road less traveled and relying on yourself as your guide. Engaging in ongoing personal development, fuelling continuous creativity and confidence, and establishing ruthless self-discipline and focus while enjoying the ride! This journey isn’t done best solo.

I don't know about you, but I want more and better company on this journey. Better inspiration. Better camaraderie. I want more wins to celebrate than my own and better support when in a rut. I’m excited to be surrounded by and to learn from women who, like me, are called by an invisible force to pursue and achieve their life's work to catalyze a unique impact in the world.

If this is hell-yes for you, please join me in making this new effort soar. I look forward to welcoming you to the inaugural cohort of Project Opus.

Your Role

To transform your life, career, or business requires commitment. There’s no special fairy dust to sprinkle—you’ve got to do the work. So, if you’re saying ‘yes’ to Project Opus, you’re all-in, which means you’re saying ‘yes’ to you and me and to all of what I expect of you:

  • When you commit to the program, commit to yourself: accept all of my calendar invites and block the time. Show up ready to play.

  • Show up eager and curious to up your game.

  • Enjoy and continuously choose support, coaching, and community.

  • Get ready to play full out while learning to live and work in a manner that supports your mind, body, spirit, and heart.

  • Enjoy being in the company of, and inspired by, like-minded women who are sustained by their purpose.

  • There will be challenging moments for each of us on this journey; show up with compassion - for yourself, for others - and authenticity.

  • Check your judgement of yourself & others at the door; your judge will likely still follow, and we’ll handle her together with utmost care and conviction.

  • Be a peer and fellow learner, not the most intelligent person in the room.

  • By choosing Project Opus, you understand that although the road less travelled is often travelled alone, you want to travel with others.

Testimonials

  • As soon as I heard about Project Opus, I knew it was exactly what I needed at this point in my life. I was feeling a bit lost and very frustrated, and I knew this program would help me find the answers I was looking for. Through the program, I rediscovered and embraced my passion. In those ten weeks, I accomplished more in my sector than in a long time, including new contracts, substantially expanding my network, and more recently, landing an inspiring new position aligned with my passion. One of the most valuable lessons I gained from Project Opus was the importance of being more compassionate towards myself and managing my inner critic. Equally important was learning to accept uncertainty, giving myself permission to move through challenges at a natural pace, and recognising even small achievements as meaningful progress. I also adopted new practices, such as meditation and mindfulness, which transformed how I approach each day. These practices have become essential to helping me stay present, grounded, and better equipped to achieve the much-desired life-work balance. The program is intense, so you need to commit to getting the most out of it, but it is definitely worth it. The amount of support provided is overwhelming in a positive way. Janine is caring and persistent, and even when life tries to take over, she always brings me back on track; she manages individual resistance with a soft yet strong hand. She is thoughtful and adjusts her support, advice, and other suggestions to my journey. I especially appreciated the trust she established between us; I knew everything shared would remain confidential. One of the things I value most about Janine is her transparency, authenticity, and ability to be open and share her journey. Thank you!

  • I recommend Janine as a trusted partner for intentionally building the life & work you want, and therefore, feeling energized and fulfilled. After various inspiring touchpoints with Janine, I embarked on Project Opus. In this program, she used different methods to help us (a group of high-performing and ambitious women) move forward in our personal growth journey. Every step of the journey (connect, dream, compose, embark) brought new insights to where I am, and what I want to and need to do to become the person, thought leader, and innovator I want to be. For me, it was effective to have a combination of research (resources from other experts), (group) reflection, and getting into action. Janine is kind and challenging. She is curious, and has deep knowledge and personal mastery of the topic of personal development and transformation. If you want to make progress into a fulfilling career & life, I recommend an intro chat with Janine!

  • I worked with Janine through Project Opus. One of my most significant results from the program was claiming authorship to really honor what I want in life and work. I realized I am more capable and prepared than I give myself credit for. One of the top aspects of Project Opus is the community. Surfacing and sharing expertise, fears, or insecurities across the group was so helpful; it’s hard to do this work on your own and achieve the same results. I learned that much of what I was going through was not unique, which gave me further confidence to take action. Today, I’m comfortable being an entrepreneur and experimenting with new directions without fear. Janine puts tremendous effort into ensuring that every session, reading, and experience is valuable; she truly cares about each person’s success. As a coach, she is highly effective at listening and identifying what changes you need to make to realize your potential.

  • I had the distinct honor to be part of the inaugural cohort of Project Opus, an inspiring and eye-opening group coaching program designed and led by Janine Matho. Many of us, including me, want to create a more meaningful life and career for ourselves, something where we can be ourselves, make a difference, and take great joy: our opus. For me, the ten weeks feel like the beginning of a new journey, and I'm so appreciative to Janine and the other incredible women in the group for the work they put into themselves and into me. It's made a real difference, and I'm now starting a new role with renewed energy and a refreshed perspective on who and how I want to be. Janine has been on her entrepreneurial journey for the past four years now, and the fruits of her efforts are abundantly evident in the transformative journeys she guided for seven women these past ten weeks–this is what craft looks like. Janine is doing the work that she's meant to do. When she is working with the group, she is glowing, and I am grateful for the time, dedication, and craft that she put into our lives.

  • I participated in Janine's Project Opus program and am so glad I did. The work we did to develop habits, plan our dreams, and identify and build our life's opus was incredibly motivating and validating. Janine created a safe space by thoughtfully curating a group of women at similar stages in life and careers and making us all feel supported and nurtured. She brought together the right resources and activities at the right time in the process for each of us. Janine's own experience, honesty, and openness made it easier for me to tackle difficult and personal challenges in our coaching sessions. I have already recommended Janine's work in Project Opus to several women and will continue to do so!

  • I was in Project Opus, and it really lit a fire in me: to value myself and what I have to offer and formulate a plan to move ahead with my ONE life goal (work and personal). We worked together in a small group of like-minded women, which was truly magical. Listening to others' stories and challenges and using the group's wisdom made a huge difference in my growth. Janine provided bespoke, targeted resources to support each of us in our own journeys- some wanted to launch a business, some wanted clarity on themselves, and some wanted to start living the life they deserved. Always empathetic and caring, Janine is a masterful coach, listening not only to what you say but to what lies underneath, knowing exactly when to push and when to give space. I highly recommend Janine and Project Opus to people who need the structure, support, and accountability to live their opus!
